The Windmill Cafe has delicious, hot, and fast breakfasts! Also, their menu items are a great value and they have attentive staff and a friendly owner, too!
My husband and I returned to the Windmill Cafe for their special walleye breakfast. It was amazing; totally yummy! They offer their walleye breakfast and lunch special only once a month on the second Friday.
I love supporting this local, small business! ❤️
DONT LISTEN TO BAD REVIEWS!!!!! This place is delicious, not nutritious and cute, I LOVE myself an old diner and this is oozing country charm and I love it so so much and love coming here im so happy it re-opened after the accident I was worry it wasnt.. but the food is amazing, people are great, cute atmosphere and the sweetest staff. This is the huge proportions you get, totally worth the cost.
It is a small, greasy-spoon, mom-and-pop type place. However, it doesn't have the negative aspects of a greasy-spoon. The place is clean and in good order. The staff was friendly and attentive. The food was very good and affordable. Seating is limited so be patient.
🌟 Today marked my inaugural visit to the charming Windmill Cafe, and it exceeded all expectations! The service was not only quick but also delivered with genuine warmth. The owner's personal greeting to each customer was a thoughtful touch, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The menu, though diverse, struck a perfect balance, making the selection process a breeze.
Following the owner's recommendation, I savored their renowned Chicken Fried Steak. The dish arrived promptly, radiating heat, and the first bite was a revelation. The steak boasted tenderness and a burst of flavors that left an indelible impression. And let's not forget the crowning glory - a luscious blanket of sausage gravy.
Affordability was yet another pleasant surprise. For the quality and service offered, Windmill Cafe certainly stands as a testament to value. As I contemplate my return, the prospect of indulging in their Eggs Benedict holds immense appeal. This culinary journey is far from over! 🍳 #WindmillCafeEats #FlavorfulAdventures #WarmHospitality
Stopped in for breakfast on a Sunday. It was steady but not too busy yet. We were sat quickly and were able to order at a nice pace. The food did not take long to come out and was amazing. Great portions and tasted great. The service was very good and everyone was very welcoming.
Stopped here for breakfast with my husband, and my only negative thought was "why haven't stopped here before!" The staff was so friendly and welcoming. The food came out quick and was delicious. We 100% plan on coming back and often!
Holy smokes this was a great find. Went for breakfast at 6am and the coffee was hot, the food was delicious and not overpriced. The service was excellent as they refreshed coffees and went out pf the way to handle orders from 6 people in record time. Highly recommend!!
We love the windmill cafe! We used to go very frequently but we moved out of the area. Now we found it remodelled, with a bright and airy look and same great breakfast cuisine! Service is always top notch, and it remains very pleasantly priced. Their hashbrowns and bacon are just the best!
